Learn about the culture and society of tribal people at Museum of Tribal Arts & Artifacts, a living monument of multiplex tribal lifestyle. Established in 1953, the museum exhibits an ever-growing collection of tribal artifacts, including clothing and ornaments, hunting and fishing equipment, and musical instruments. See 14 tribal shrines which reflect the local tribal superstitions and supernatural beliefs, as well as their religion in general. The museum hosts an annual dance festival during December, during which dancers from various Indian tribes portray their traditions in form of dances. Also visit a garden with over 300 medicinal plants.   • Very nice place to gain knowledge about the lifestyle of Odia tribal people. Fully a/c museum equipped with audio visual information system. Recommended for all to visit this museum.
  • Great collection of tribal items and the tribal food is also very good. Free to visit. Photographs are not allowed. Audio visuals are very informative. Tribal items are also sold here.
  • An unique gallery of Indian Anthropology. Audio visual equipments helped a lot to understand in details. Artificially made villages are so informative.
  • Depicting the life of tribals in the most beautiful way. They have audio systems which describes most of the artifact kept in the museum. It's well maintained and even the tribal census is also provided. Note: you are not allowed to take photographs
  • Very nice museum which shows the Tribal art and if you are in Bhubaneswar then it is the must place to see
