  • On tours to the statue of Shiva temples in Gokarna and Palolem beach we have negotiated with a taxi driver Cinto (Tel. 8975036959). Left at 4 am from Benaulim lies and rode around 3:00. A statue of Shiva zagorozhena Tower Temple, built to people looking not only at the statue from the road, but went to the temple. In the church you can see a small statue of various gods, and look at the people, dressed in elegant clothes, performing various rituals for prosperity. Inside the temple there is a lift and for 10 rupees, you can climb the 18 floor, there opens a beautiful view on statue of Shiva and the surrounding area. We arrived before 9 am, and people were not very much. Inside the statue of Shiva can be seen scenes from the legends about Shiva, Hindi tell about all that you see. Entrance to the statue of Shiva is worth 10 rupees per person. After visiting the statue we went to Gokarnu ("go" means "cow", "Karna" is "ear") is a sacred place, where according to the legend, Shiva appeared. The road to the temples goes past the bright market, temples are allowed to enter, but in General a queue that is not less than 200 people, so we were limited to a review of the Temple from the outside. On the road from the temple seen monkeys leaping trees. After we went to Gokarna Palolem Beach, it is very popular among tourists and there are a lot of people can agree and go on a boat trip to see dolphins on the way to be delivered to several other beaches. But since it was 2:00 a day on a boat there is no roof and we were tired after a grueling serpentine roads, we ate in the Cafe and returned back. This tour will be very difficult for the children, but if you are coming without children or someone who can look after them during the day, definitely recommend visiting this attraction.
