This Fort, which in addition to walls protected by a moat with urine, so apparently the enemy doesn't exactly pass. Within a couple of streets too curious people, a couple of churches, a small park, there is no particular stores.

The Fort is very different to other forts of Rajasthan. The entrance of the fort is very grand but most of part of it is encroached by the locals. However the museum is worth watching especially the 'Hummam'. If you are planning to visit Bharatpur don't forget to add 'Mahal Khas' to your itinerary. It provides best stay in town as well as food. The ambience of the hotel is just awesome. You may find it bit expensive but once you enter in the palace you will surely love it.

Lohagarh fort has numerous monuments like museum, Bihariji Temple, Kishori Mahal etc. within it. It has a heritage hotel (Mahal Khas) too. We came to know about this hotel suddenly while we were roaming around in search of a restaurant to have lunch. Google was showing some other options too but we choose Mahal Khas due to point of hygiene and services and we were proud of our decision. I am giving 5 star to Lohagarh Fort just because of Museum, Bihariji Temple and of course Mahal Khas.

Lohagargh is a nice place to visit. i visited this place without any plan during my Bharatpur agra and near by places visit. Some one suggested me to have lunch at Mahal Khas Palace which was very few KM distance from Kevladev Bird century. It was an awesome heritage property and the way they served the lunch was a king wali feeling. We visited this place as well and it was very fantastic day. Next time we will spent 3 days here with the package they offered
