  • AS (Narasimha Rao maddigunta) rightly said this place locally and far people call as BHadrachalam, bhadradri Ramaya, bhadragiri Konda...etc. BHadra Maharishi does tapas here on this hill then rama present and ask bhadra Maharishi what u want then he aSk rama to stay on this hill then later that Rishi becomes rock ( u can view that rock behind temple) and a rock sculpture also how rama was present here its some leape language. later while nizams ruling Deccan under Tanisha Nawab period sri ramadasu comes into history. hE was prisoned in golconda fort which now in Hyderabad. many say that they saw songs written on rama by sri ramadasu here on walls but when I visited golconda fort in 2014-jan nothing was seen . by that time most of the fort was being re-built with cement for future protection. many under ground tunnels starting and endings also I have seen by now ur read this tge may not present becoz in my VISIT time itself they are closing by mud and dirt. there SOo many secret tunnel lines used by rulers. BUt nature closed
  • Not bad. Temple is good. Sri ram's idol is very beautiful. Temple authorities looting the pilgrims by all sort of methods as usual. No free darshan. Starting with Rs. 20, 50, 100, 500, 1000... All ways to satisty the quench.. Nearby godavari river is dirty and filthy. Same are the lodging business. People are looting the pilgrims in the name of god. Worst rooms, no room service, small filthy room, super highly priced, unauthorized lodges. Food ok. Dirty surroundings.
  • I visited this temple 3 timrs..according to temple legendary the temple shares its historical significance with Ramayana Era. The name Bhadrachalam is derived from the word Bhadragiri (The Mountain Abode of Bhadra, the child of Meru and Menaka). This famous temple at is home to the Archa Murthy‚Äôs of Rama, Sita and Lakshmana and their idols are believed to be swayambhu i.e. self-manifested ones.
  • one of the best spiritual place to visit on "srirama navami" n on "vaikunta ekadashi"..
  • My dream place Sri Ramadasu holy temple of sri rama sita lakshman
