  • An artificial lake, pretty huge area and very well maintained. Defeneltly a weekend evening getaway. Boating activities also available at the tank.
  • Very well maintained lake with park for children. You can go around for a walk and take children to play
  • Its a walk that is free from traffic and you can feel safe you won't fall through cracks in side-walks or get run off by a scooter, car or, hopefully even a pedal driven bike. No autos swiping your el...  more »

  • A very pleasant place for morning & evening walks with a 2 Kilometer promenade along the Sankey lake. The walkways are wide enough to accommodate folks walking, jogging on both lanes. Plenty of benches all along to rest up or to just absorb the fresh air. There is a small pocket of trees in one corner where birds (migratory?) nest and is a delight to watch them fly. Dusk (5:30 PM to 6:30 PM) is an ideal time to be here as you can watch the sun set, birds return to their nest and the promenade & fountain lights slowly start to take prominence with their reflections glimmering on the water. A few push carts outside the park sell roast corn, chats, cut fruits. Plenty of parking space available towards the Sadashivanagar entrance as compared to the CET Cell (Malleshwaram Side) entrance.
  • Went to see chhath pooja.. what a pooja people celebrating there...
  • Nice joggers park near.. Having 2 entrances. The 2nd entrance at Sadashiv nagar road side is having good parking option as well.. Nicely maintained.
  • One of the few calm and green spaces in the city. Great to jog but in process of being renovated at the mo. The entire lake has a perimeter of about 1.7 kms for the joggers. Also don't forget to spot ducks and the floating duck penns
  • One of the most beautiful bangalore lakes. Lovely sunset, a nice walking trail for busting the stress. A perfect place for morning and evening walks.
