  • This is located near cunningham road in one of the old colonial era buildings. Visited when a Jamini Roy's exhibition was going on, enjoyed calm atmosphere of gallery. Could improve the maintenance.  more »

  • It's a nice place if you have interest in arts. This Place is clean and quiet. But expected much more art works. As it has a small gallery of arts so improvement on collection must be needed and it has entry fees of 20 rupees only. It will be better if there's more collection added. Generally 30-40 minutes you need to visit the gallery. It has a cafeteria along with little shop.
  • Well maintained and peaceful. Less crowded as many don't seem to know such a place exists. Gallery has art work from many of India's greatest artists. Staff and security are very helpful. There is small gift shop and a cafe too.
  • The National Gallery of Modern Art, Bengaluru is located on 49 Palace Road, Bangalore. This was set up by the Govt of India in the premises of the Manikyavelu Mansion and opened to the public on 18th February, 2009. Spread over an area of 3.5 acres, the gracious heritage building was transformed from a residence into an Art Gallery, with a display space of 1551 square meters to which a new gallery block with a display space of 1260 sq. m. was added. The architecture of the additional block was designed in such a fashion that it merges with the style and ambience of the heritage Manikyavelu Mansion while at the same time fulfilling the requirements of a modern museum. It has a cafeteria inside that serves good good. Very nice ambience. Entry is free.
  • An awesome place to visit. Time spent here is a worth it took 2 hours to completely visit the exhibits. You can find peace in this place a good place for reading even tea is good at this place.
