  • Excited to watch the match last night. Every cricket loving fan should go to the stadium at least once. The pitch is a batting wicket in T20 specially however also helps fast bowlers in initial overs. The final score on this pitch depends heavily on the initial over battle between batsmen vs bowlers . A first innings score of 180 also can be comfortable totalĀ on this pitch. During Day pitch supports bowlers and during night matches batsmen overpower due to dew factor.
  • World famous cricket stadium. The ground is world class and has adopted first in the world... water drain system. Even after a heavy downpour the match can start within a few minutes. It also houses a club which is a popular joint.
  • If you're a cricket fan based in Bangalore, it's a shame if you've not visited this 35000 capacity stadium- then you're really not a true cricket fan! A major playground for cricket in India, it's a Batman's paradise since years! The noise level during India matches maybe 500 decibels! :) This is the place women scream freely, men punch hard into the air, and anyone can go mad, hysteric and happy all at the same time! Sometimes one needs to watch their heads as certain International players tend to hit sixes outside the stadium, and the ball might shatter your head. Bit crowded on match days, parking own vehicles are a big headache. Getting tickets for finals are next to impossible at the many counters here! If you need to know the sound of a human nuclear bomb, be here during major Indian cricket team matches, esp. against Pakistan and Australia. Now the best way to get here is using Metro Train, using the Cubbon Park Metro Station, which is just adjacent.
  • Good cricket stadium. Central location in city. Close to metro station. Can be very crowded at time of popular cricket games. Make sure you check gate number for entrance on your ticket if going for a game. View will of course depend on your ticket and seat location with reference to the game.
  • IPL matches are a treat here. Bangalore crowd is crazy and the loudest. Parking is a mess around stadium. Traveling is easy as stadium is situated in the heart of the city. But getting cab after the match is over is difficult. Chairs of the stadium are in bad condition. Sometimes unnecessary fencing blocks the views. Screen is small. Good thing is there are plenty of gates to enter the stadium.
