Colorful blooms and lush greenery come alive at Lalbagh Botanical Garden, one of the city's most popular tourist attractions. Commissioned on the orders of the former ruler of Mysore, a local kingdom, the gardens trace their origins to the second half of the 18th century. You can explore the extensive grounds that stretch for more than 97 hectares (240 acres), admiring centuries-old species of trees and a number of collections exhibiting different floral varieties. • A large complex. Cleanliness is ok. Visit is worth it. There are 4 gates to enter the Gardens. Only one gate where parking is available. Lush green and lot of flower and fauna. We did get tired...

  • This is one of the best places for outing with friends or families in Bangalore The location is very accessible. It has a metro station nearby and a very good connectivity with local bus. The area of the garden is around 230 Acres. You would need around three to five hours to visit. It has a wide variety of flowers and plants and the atmosphere here is very delightful. The place is very clean and it has a lake and an artificial waterfall inside. There are many good food stalls as well.
  • This is one of the biggest botanical garden, having several variety of trees and plants. even there is lake inside. Connected through metro but you can easily reach there by other means of transport also. Good place to visit beautiful garden located right in the heart of the city. well kept and run and a walkers paradise for sure. It is so nice to see such huge and old trees of different types. Glad it is being preserved and cared for so well. one can easily spend a few hours enjoying the nature .
  • One of the must visit places in Bangalore. Filled with greenery, nice place to take a day out with family. Attraction is glass house and will have a flower decoration during Independence Day and Republic day. Will have to pay entry fee. Located in the city, public transport (Bus and Metro) available. If you are bringing your own vehicles, parking is available. *Be prepared to walk more to see more 🙂
  • Beautiful place.. Visited today to see the flower show. It was so beautiful. Filled with lots of fresh flowers. It's a relaxing feel to the eyes. At the entrance tickets are to be taken. Adult ₹75 per person and ₹25 per child who is 6 years and above. There are sanitizers kept. And security checks too. Due to holiday it was very crowded. Kids will love the place very much. Its a vast place where you can spend a whole day with your friends and family. A must visit place to chill out. The flowers show is conducted at the glass house.
  • Entrance ticket is ₹30 Must visit place if you are in Bangalore. Easily accessible from any part of the city. Such a big place with different varieties of trees and species. The best time of the day to visit is in the evening though it closes by 6pm. Inside the compound they have motor cars to take you around the garden in case you don't want to walk all the way round. Even it has a lake inside. Experience was good. The place is well constructed and well maintained Amazing place for hangout with friends or family Lot of greenery we can find here and the beautiful concrete jungle inside the Bangalore. The glass house is beautiful artificial Waterfalls which gives very good view, but it'll be open in the morning only. Lake view is crazy during sunrise and sunset, and during clouds. Good place for photography.
