  • Green space with beautiful outdoor art. Whimisical when there is no market and buzzing when the art bazaars are on. This space has something for everyone -- shopping, museum, art-culture fix and really really good, reasonably priced south Indian food in the efficient canteen. Try Ragi dosa and filter coffee
  • Every art enthusiast must visit this place. The section where they have legendary artist Roerich's work and also some of the rarest leather puppets are worth seeing. And whenever you visit there, there would be some or the other show is happening at the galleries on the ground floor. The shop on ground floor also offers some great choices for you to purchase. I got some good books on art from them. The event Chitra Santhe which they have in the first week of Jan every year attracts thousands of people. Above all that, the food you get in Kamath Kala Ruchi is very delicious and very inexpensive. Go and check it out.
  • The Kamat restaurant in Chitrakala Parishath is my favorite as this has a good energetic crowd and the restaurant serves some good south Indian cuisine tats affordable
  • It's a great place to visit for all art lovers. Watch out for the regular exhibition-cum-sale organized here. The canteen area is excellent to spend some time quietly amidst faux nature. A rarity in urban Bengaluru.
  • Great place to soak in the arts. The museum and Roerich painting gallery are a must visit. Usually has some or the other handicrafts exhibition going on. The annual chitra santhe is a big draw and feels like a giant carnival of art.
