  • One of the better planetariums that I have seen. Some infrastructure upkeep would add to the sheen but even that shortcoming cannot take a star away. Very educative content, quite contemporary and very attractive for kids. Staff is friendly, they manage the crowd cordially and do not get unreasonable in what can be taken in and what can't be. One can visit this place on a regular basis. Better than going to malls.
  • Wonderful educative place for kid's, auditorium is like half globe shape were it is screened, you need to view in semi sleeping position facing upwards "feel like viewing open sky", projectors are state of art technology, they conduct shows for about 45 minutes in kannada, English and hindi languages, show is all about stars, planetary systems of our solar planet.. it's awesome experience it will take you to real outer space.. Kids as well as elders will enjoy for sure...
  • Good place for science enthusiasts especially those interested in astronomy. Special programmes and classes conducted for arousing interest in science based research.
  • The place is surrounded by a huge garden and has interesting shows and details. Can be visited and should take about 3-4 hours. BASE has established a Science Centre in the Planetarium which has become a nucleus for non-formal science education at all levels. The activities of the Science Centre and the Planetarium have made BASE a unique institution for the dissemination of science. A Science Park has been developed in the premises of the Planetarium.
  • An wonderfully maintained place which conducts shows for kids & adults about the space & planets It also has a telescope which will be used by scientific community for observing rare celestial events ... They own the telescope for public viewing on days like solar & lunar eclipse etc ...
