  • Good concept, but not very well maintained. The displays are old and tattered and many are broken! The show was the best. The place definitely needs facelift.  more »

  • Nice planetarium! Sky theatre is the main attraction. Show timings: Kannada: 2.30 pm & 3.30 pm English: 12.30 pm & 4.30 pm. But on Sundays they conduct extra shows if there are more visitors. There is one Nandini Milk Parlour inside, but there is no other good option to have good food. If possible carry your own food and have it there.
  • The place is renovated recently and they have done an excellent renovation job. Place is closed on Mondays, second Saturdays and all public holidays. Parking : They have ample parking space for both 4 and 2 wheelers. Science Park : It has a open science park which is informative and fun section for kids. Many old instruments and posters are present inside the main building. Shows : 4 shows are run with Kannada (2:30 and 3:30 ) and English narration ( 12:30 and 4:30 ). Seating capacity for the show is 210. Each show is for about 40 minutes. Kids below 3 years of age are not allow for the show. Purchasing Ticket : Counter opens 30 minutes prior to show time. Good arrangements are provided for standing in queue. Queue even has seating arrangement ! On a crowded day they run extra show at 5:30. As of June 2017, ticket prices are Rs 50/- and Rs 30/- for adults and kids respectively. Advance booking : One can book the tickets 7 days in advance. But one can not book in advance for the same day !. Food : There is a single Nandini parlour which sells all nandini sweet products and ice creams.
  • The half an hour show "exploring the universe" gives a very pleasant experience in the sky theatre. The area is kept clean. Tickets cost rs.50 per person and rs.30 for children. The story is a little older and new content could be added in the show. Overall good experience
  • Well maintained. Ample car parking space. Crowded on weekends as it is a very popular place. Nice shows. Kids and elders alike will like the shows. Recommended.
  • Nicely maintained planetarium and science park @ Bangalore. New space shows at space theatre in two languages ( Kannada & English ). Total 4 shows, 2 shows per day in each language. INR 50 for adult and 30 for child (3 to 16 yrs). Kids below 3 yrs not permitted in the sky theatre. Parking is free. Worthy for the price paid and half a day outing with family.
