  • The place is nice, calm and serene.. butterfly sanctuary is small but very enjoyable. The safari was good considering you get to see live wild animals but caged openly. The bus safari was only 45minutes and didn't feel adequate. There are many other birds and small animals who seemed healthy and well fed. Kids will get to see a variety of animals.
  • Very good place to enjoy at weekend with family or friends. One can see zoo and by arranging Safari. Tickets rates are very high & one can be tired with long queue for Safari vehicle at Sunday and Holiday. After passing through queue one has to wait at 4 or 5 sitting places before entering into Safari vehicle. However one can get food and snacks at reasonable rates at outside of the campus entrance gate. Food stalls insides, are changing very high and discriminative rates from the visitors of other states. Karnataka tourism should take proper care of this. However bus stop and bus services are very good. We have enjoyed the trip.
  • Nice family outing. The animals are captive but are released in an enclosed park. The tigers and lions can be seen up close from a caged safari bus. The animals are healthy and well cared for. Outside the park there are very few good options hence do pack your own food. It can become crowded in afternoon hence planning on a weekday is most ideal or go early on weekends.
  • It is worthy to spend time with children...I'm sure children would love to be there again and again especially for the wild safari tour and other parts of the zoo....Come on cheers why wait ..U can start right away... Also One can find decent food buffet available in the food restaurant inside ...Don't expect much buy it can satisfy us ....
  • I've been here backk in 2010.And this time also it did not disappoint. The safari was great. The Zoo has become a little bit late down due to Karnataka Cash Crunch at the Govt. level. (I hope you understand what I mean.). Else still a great place to visit. If you don't have a vehicle take the direct Bus from Majestic or nice road.
