  • A perfect place for nature lovers to have a few moments amidst refreshing nature and calm surroundings, lake also attracts visitors who are looking for some fun filled activities
  • The Lake is situated in the city centre. It is better to visit by road, and from the Park. Here's more equipped for relaxation. Many shops and cafes. There is a playground. There is a possibility to swim on the boat, look at the small artificial fountains, flowing from the lake itself.

  • The park is well maintained & the atmosphere is very pleasant. Best suited for families for evening outings.
  • Nice place for a good evening walk with family. Kids enjoy playing. The park around the lake is well maintained. Eatables are not allowed inside. There are street side chat shops if u like to have something.
  • Sankey tank, one of the beautiful places in the city to get some fresh air for early morning walkers. The park is well maintained and they have a many facilities keeping in mind the public. They have constructed an open gym for the public on both the sides and also yoga is conducted for free of cost during morning and evening hours . They also have a park for the children to play, with a toilet and also drinking water facility is available. Overall a wonderful place to spend some time peacefully.
  • Have been there like 1000 times. One of the best lakes in bangalore with free entry. Great for early morning walk or evening jogs . Very clean. Only time it gets dirty during ganesha festival due to visarjan.
  • Very well-maintained track good for walking and running. If you're in the area, do plan a visit during Ganesh Chaturthi as this place is absolutely crowded with people doing pooja and immersing Ganesh idols in the small tank (disconnected from the main water body)! BBMP workers aid in immersion and are extremely prompt in cleaning the tank on the following day to restore the park's cleanliness.
  • The Lake popularity and upkeep has improved tremendously, having boating and walkways, lush greenery... Nice place for an urban outing.
