  • More of a art museum that reflects India's independence/modern history than a modern art museum. Nice, but not great.
  • A must visit if you are an art enthusiast, has permanent collections and changing exhibits, the cafe could have been better.

  • On March 11 there was a fntion to inagurate an exhibition of photos" Hindu gods worshipped in Japan". It was an eye opener for most of us. Many Japanese woship Indian gods almost similar rituals mantras etc. Good exhibition. Tkn
  • I love meeting likeminded creative and talented people at NGMA. Film directors , Proffesional artists , architects. Movie buffs.
  • Nicely tucked in a quiet area of Bangalore, NGMA offers wealth of artwork for Bangaloreans to relish. NGMA holds frequent art exhibitions as well.
  • An incredible collection which gave a foreigner like me much more insight into the Indian subconscious. There were amazing gems in every section all the way from the earliest works to the most recent. There was also the perfect amount of stuff in my opinion. 1 or 2 hours of sheer absorption and transportation to another world. In short, go see this if you like art and are in Bangalore even for a day.
  • Discover Bengaluru through art. Great place filled with spectacular sketches, paintings and stone carvings. Well organised and showcasing.
