Candolim Beach, Bardez

4.1
#7 of 108 in Outdoors in Goa
At Candolim Beach, put your mind and body to rest and taste some of the best seafood in the region. Besides going for a swim, you can also try other water sport activities like water skiing or parasailing. Or, visit the stranded ship that became a tourist attraction after it got stuck on shore in 2000. When you arrive at this piece of coastline, check out the surrounding restaurants and cafes which serve all sorts of dishes and drinks. The beach offers many comfortable accommodation choices, just make sure to schedule your room early--especially during high season--because it can get crowded. Plan your visit to Candolim Beach and a wealth of other attractions, well-known and undiscovered, using our Goa online road trip planner .

  • Had a rest on Goa on Christmas vacation. Staying at the hotel on this beach. In the previous year came at Candolim not once, as found here good Sheik, where service and food very good. Decided to go back to this place again and to my surprise found that we are not alone))). Among the campers saw a lot of familiar faces, mainly anglichanei the Germans. Beach I would conditionally divided in 2 parts. One stop Hindus (New Year holidays they were incredibly a lot), the second the Europeans. In the part where the rest Hindus, very dirty at the end of the day, unfortunately. As we understand, the staff shakes clean surrounding area themselves. Special machine travels along the shore and picks up trash every day. A huge number of shakes, all different sizes and level of service, you can always find a suitable. On the beach there are water activities, mainly used by Hindus. In General, the beach can you recommend for a change, but drive still stands on all the North of Goa. All beaches are completely different and each in his own way good!

Where to stay in Goa

One of the more affordable regions for staying in India, Goa offers a good range of sleeping options, from budget to luxurious. Visitors looking for that feeling of home away from home can explore rental apartments, which offer more space than a hotel room and often come with fully equipped kitchens. Look for an apartment in Oxel or Siolim, peaceful villages with gated communities and a range of facilities. Beach houses and private villas offer an alternative for those with deeper pockets, while beach huts/shacks work well for budget-conscious travelers.
