  • We get down at a Jetty amidst a Marine Groove and have to walk at least 1.5 Kms through Open Field to reach the Lime Stone Caves. We have to descend a little and enter the Caves. Inside it is a Wonderful Sight of Lime Stone Formations of Different Sizes and Shapes. Interpretation of the Images is left to our imagination. Frozen Water dripping from the Rock on the Top of the Cave hanging like knives. Inside the Caves it is So Cool. In Some places there is Water. We can go inside up to a Point. It was a Memorable Place.
  • It was one of the best natures place to visit ..though it will take sometime to reach there . From baratang island you need to take speed boat. 30 min ride then 20 min walk .. but it's worth doing all this . You will enjoy to fullest. See all the photos below
  • The thrill of reaching the cave is better than the cave itself. Although this sounds anticlimactic, the beautiful boat ride through the mangroves to reach this place is divine. The caves themselves are historic, and amazingly beautiful. Their size is a disappointment, though. Can barely fit 30 people in one go. Be mindful, the island has a few hundred caves, but you are allowed to visit only one.
  • Had a great experience inside the great Stone cave after a wonderful walk through the jungle. Wonderful creation of some formation like Ganesh, crocodile etc by the nature. But one thing that the jungle walk is little bit slippery as it's always rain here. So be careful and have a good pair of shoe or something like that which has good grips. I would recommend everyone to visit here once in life if possible.
  • Loved the experience to visit this place but must consider that this place is in middle of a jungle, thus must wear proper gum boots and carry a stick to ward off snakes etc. We were walking with bathroom slippers and shorts. Two of us later saw blood oozing out from our lower limbs, which is a sign of leech attack! Be careful, leech is not infectious, so nothing to worry but must return from there before 4pm otherwise you miss the next attraction - parrot Island.
