  • This temple is a wonderful ‘pre-cursor’ to the The Golden Temple. It is not on the same scale, but is beautiful, welcoming and peaceful. The walk from this temple to The Golden Temple is worth effort!  more »
  • Just replica of golden temple. Nice place for inner peace. Have free parking for 2 to 3 hours. there are few sweet shops outside temple that every one should try  more »
  • We arrived at dusk and therefore saw this both before and after it was illuminated. It is truly amazing and even more so once lit up. It's a shame about the long queues but it is worth the wait.  more »

  • It's a Hindu temple with multiple god and goddess and been surrounded by a pond giving a superficial visual appearance similar to Harmandir Sahib. Approx 3.5 to 4 km from from golden temple. Multiple vehicle including auto and rickshaw are available. Usually asks for Rs:50-60/- for two riders. Parking of cars and shoes are free of cost and warrants safety. However the place is relatively free from main crowd and average in attraction and significance (not from religious point of view). A must visit place in the nearby fort.
  • Its a beautiful place to visit and grab knowledge about our Hinduism religion nd culture. This place is 150 year old.. the grace and the beauty of the location is just pricious. One of the peaceful place in Amritsar. history of this temple is heart touching. Everyone hve to visit this place.. and provide importance to the temple as we give importance to Golden temple 🙏
  • Beautifully built, it's architecture is similar to Golden Temple. Aside Durgiana Temple, there are two other temples as well to visit. Keep wary of timings of temple.
  • The Durgiana Temple(ਦੁਰਗਿਆਨਾ ਮੰਦਿਰ), also known as Lakshmi Narayan Temple, Durga Tirath and Sitla Mandir, is a premier temple situated in the city of Amritsar, Punjab, India.Though a Hindu temple, its architecture is similar to the Golden Temple. This temple derives its name from the Goddess Durga, the chief Goddess deified and worshipped here. Idols of Goddess Laksmi (goddess of wealth) and Vishnu (the protector of the world) are also deified here and worshipped.
  • Really liked it...Its looks like a GOLDEN TEMPLE....Superb
