  • This entire day was a five start day. We were picked up at our hotel by a tuktuk and taken directly to Elefantastic, where our elephant was getting fed. We were given drinks and told about what the procedure was. The employees spoke really good English. We then got to feed and pet our elephant, a 53 year old lady from a circus, who was as gentle as can be. We were, after some time feeding, given the opportunity to paint our elephant, which we declined, seeing as there was no need. The people there did not push us or anything, which was great. We then walked her over to get some water, and we got to wash her feet and legs, which she enjoyed. Then, we got to go on a long walk with the ol lady, which was fun. She was a slow stroller but a great walking companion. Also, the kids in the area were really nice, as well. After our time with the elephant, we were driven to one of the employees houses and had what was likely our best meal in India, which is saying something. On the way back to our hotel, we asked if we could stop at the fort, which they had no problem doing. We stopped in Jaipur for the very specific reason of visiting Elefantastic, and it was 100% worth it. Many people on the streets told us that it was the most expensive elephant place around, which, to us, meant that they were the best. I was more than willing to pay a premium to know that the elephants get cared for and not worked, and the employees get paid well. If I am back in Jaipur, I would not hesitate to visit again. Also, I kept playing with their dogs.

  • Absolutely incredible, the love and care that is lavished on the elephants is quite extraordinary. The afternoon spent with the elephants was the highlight of my trip to India. Highly recommended, a must visit for all elephant lovers. Thank you Ran up and all the staff.
  • It was simply a wonderful experience. Period. Living in India, elephants are not a rare sight. However this experience with Elefantastic was completely original and totally worth the money. This is being run by a honest man with an honest intent to truly look after these elephants, while also giving a personal experience to his visitors. This is how it works: You will be asked to arrive close to an elephant's feeding time. They will explain you how to feed her (or him. 2 as of now) and how to get close to her and become her friend. Then you get to paint her trunk in soft skin friendly (both you and her too!) paints. Now that you got her all dirty, you need to give her a bath. You ll really be given a brush and water hose to clean her up properly :D. The care taker will also help you out. But then you get dirty in the process. So you get to sit atop the elephant you just cleaned and she will give you a bath. She will suck loads of water in her trunk and pour it on you while you sit on her back! Seriously, it's a lot of fun.. Then both of you get to dry yourselves by taking a long tour around the big facility. You get to ride on her bare back, unlike any other elephant rise where you are sitting on some table tied to her back. Then you get to take a shower, change to new clothes and get back to city. They will even drop you off with a cab they have coz it's quite in the outskirts of the city.
  • Phone number is switched off. No response from their side. Really disappointed.
