Travelled in October and probably was not the best time to be visiting Alwar. Alwar has few places of interest and Siliserh lake definitely ranks up at the top two places to visit. The lake is around ... read more »

Fresh air in morning is unbelievable. Sun rise view is great. Lake is not clean. Boating seems little bit risky due to crocodile.
Very beautiful place. Good place for outing on weekends. There is a entry fees of ₹50 on which you will receive a complementary drink(Tea,Coffee,Soft drink)
The lake stretches over a large area and the scenic beauty is good. You will love the place, if you enjoy natural places with good weather and no noises around. You can enjoy motor boat(Rs.800), pedal boat(Rs.400) and jetski(Rs.600). The road trip to this plcae is also awesome. There are a few adventure sports activities as well (for timing and availability, kindly call and confirm). There is paragliding, scuba diving and such activities for you to try.
The lake is at a distance of about 10 Km from Alwar City. One has to take a diversion of 4 Km on a narrow road towards right on the way to Sariska Tiger Reserve. It is quite a big lake surrounded by hills. There was sufficient water in the lake for enjoying boating. The RTDC Hotel LakePalace is situated on one edge of the lake and view of the lake from there is breathtaking. A lot of garbage was floating near the edges of the lake and needs cleaning. The lower floors of the hotel seem to be in an urgent need of repair as lots of shrubs and trees were found growing out of the walls which may even endanger the building. The entry ticket of Rs. 50 to the lake entitles one to a coffee/a cold drink or a water bottle from the restaurant at the lake. Overall a beautiful place not to be missed.
The lake view is awesome. The rate is reasonable. The food is good, provided it serves only Veg and outside food ain't allowed.
Nice experience. Rooms are comfortable. Hotel has a very beautiful scenic view. Really good hotel. But there is need to improve service.
