  • This is a queen's chhatri - an umbrella shaped structure that you come across in Alwar spots. Overall, an average place to visit but you can go there once if you are on a sight seeing trip in the town...  more »
  • Except for an outside chhatri (umbrella type structure), there is nothing here to see. The stepwell is fine but is dirty and not maintained at all.
  • It is not an unavoidable stop in the itinerary. It had once its glory but now it's only a place where college going kids come and relax. If you come to visit the Palace, then it is near to it.

  • A beautiful monument - the Chattri or Cenotaph is a composite made of red sandstone and white marble harmoniously coordinated. The combination of Rajput and Mughal architectural styles is exquisite; the inner sanctum is adorned with bas reliefs from Hindu mythology while the pavilions and pillars on the outside have floral designs and patterns. This is one of the better maintained and relatively clean amongst the monuments of Alwar. While there is no signage stating that photography is not allowed, the guards stationed sometimes challenge unwitting tourists with threats of fines and penalties for taking pictures.
  • This place is at walking distance from Govt Museum and Alwar Court. You can relax a bit there and have nice view of hills & Bala Quila. There is lot of greenery around there.
  • Beautiful place it has amazing architecture work with his glorious history
  • Nice place, need more care to conserve the heritage
  • Beutiful construction almost 600 yrs old ...
