Where to stay in Alwar

Many old, traditional townhouses in Alwar have been converted into heritage hotels. Often upscale, these boutique accommodations combine modern amenities with traditional design and architecture. Beyond that, the selection of other lodgings ranges from high-end and mid-range Western-style inns and hotels to budget-friendly choices, including campsites. Places to stay lie all around the small town, which you can explore on foot and use as a good base for venturing into the nearby tiger reserve.

  • 1. Just an old qila between alwar to bhangarh fort, not maintained so hardly people stop by. 2. Good for rustic photography lovers.
  • There's is no any kind of path over there.. Its on a hill n if u wanna go inside the fort u have to track to get up there.. The fort is like the ruins of Rajasthan but its too great.. Specially for me as i m too fond of heritage places.. I love the place.. And the best part was tracking n the gate made up of marble..
  • Situated on Alwar - Dausa state Highway in beautiful valley .No approach road or pathway to fort ,you have to climb a small hill around 40 meters height from main road . The nearby village of same name is almost half in ruins. The Rajasthan archaeological department must take care of this magnificent fort, which is decaying slowly .The best season to visit is July to March .
  • The place is totally abandoned and that adds to the beauty and adventure for this place, you just need to open the fort gate yourself and yo are good to go not even a single guard is present out there
  • Not much to see but as u drive in one see empty shops/ houses
