Chitai Temple, Almora
(4.5/5 based on 100+ reviews on the web)
Participate in the reverence of Lord Shiva in the form of Gaur Bhairav at Chitai Temple. Make your wishes true by asking the god for his grant with clear conscience. Worship the deity with pieces of white cloth, pagri, and white shawl. See the thousands of bells strung around the temple, as the god is said to be represented by them. Seek the divine intervention by writing your request and pinning the letter to the bells. Enjoy the eateries with their local cuisine menu, as well as tea and pakora. Beware of the monkeys and protect your possessions. To visit Chitai Temple and other attractions in Almora, use our Almora vacation planner.
