Learn about the history of the Nehru family and political decisions and events related to the struggle of Indian independence at Anand Bhavan. • Amazing place. The ambience is very peaceful. Great place for history lovers. Came to know many unknown facts about the first prime minister of India Mr.Jawaharlal Nehru. Must watch place in Allahabad after the Triveni sangam.
  • Quite well organized and informative exhibit offering a unique and penetrating view into the life of one of the greatest men of India, Jawaharla Nehru. Feels amazing to walk in the same house where the history of India was made. The adjoining bookstore is well worth a visit for titles you won't find usually on Nehru.
  • One should be sensitive to understand the times and people in that context. It is not a palace, but a large house in good taste. This house and it's master were respected across globe before he became prime minister of independent India and this is a chance to understand the reason. From here I came to know that he was a graduate in natural science (not in law) from Cambridge - no wonder he created a strong base for sciences in India. Absolutely clear why we got a secular and rational man as our architect in those crucial years! And what a last testament!
  • Aanand Bhavan is the home of Pandit Jhawhar Lal Nehru, first PM of independent India. There is a space laboratory built inside which is a must see.
  • I nice place to look in greenary inside the Bhawan and also good collection of work form past. Nehru Planetarium is also inside the Bhawan.
