  • The app is very usefull to find the visiting spot in unknown place.Allahabad Fort is in the junction of Ganga river and Yamuna river. It was made by great mugal king Akbar.
  • Such an old fort made by Akbar. Now fully occupied by Indian Army. People says there are No number of tunnel which was a big concern. Will wait for that day when it will open for public. Lots lots his...  more »
  • The Fort is completely of the military, you can visit only the temple that is located below ground. The temple is nothing more than a fixed course between statues of various deities where you suggest to leave good luck coins ... I don't know if it's worth it.

  • Build by Emperor Akbar, Allahabad Fort stand beside the mighty Yamuna reflecting the history the city of Allahabad has. Currently the fort is owned by Indian Army and is an ordinance base. Fort also houses the mythological tree of life known as AkshayVat. It also has a pillar of Emperor Ashoka. Public viewing of fort is still restricted and just only a very small part of fort housing a temple is open.
  • Wonderful architect and exotic look and feel of spirituality because it is just beside Sangam where the holy rivers Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswati meet. You can't get inside because it is now restricted place and only Army allowed to go inside. But still one can enjoy around it. It gives wonderful look from outside as well.
  • Under the control of army. A place of historical importance but unfortunately not open for public.
  • Amazing place but not tourist place but open for few special days to visit to limited place only.
  • Very well place once I got the chance to explore. Great history and it shows the Inctrediable india.
