Visit Vaishnodevi Temple, a shrine devoted to the Hindu mother goddess Mahalaxmi, and a worthy replica of the original located in northern India. Take the narrow pathway paved with ceramics, which leads to the tunnels, then crawl to the top and find yourself before the statue of the goddess. Although artificial, the skillful construction and design of the caves and tunnels impresses the countless devotees and tourists who visit the site. You can't take photographs inside the temple. Put Vaishnodevi Temple on your schedule, and learn what else deserves a visit by using our Ahmedabad tourist route planner.
