Sidi Saiyad Masjid, Ahmedabad

4.2
Regarded as one of the holiest places in Gujarat, Sidi Saiyad Masjid features strikingly decorated latticework windows. Built in 1573, this well-maintained gem of the so-called Indo-Saracenic style attracts visitors from all over the world. • On the road... Construction is great... Not a vast area but not so small either... The pillars, roof dome and air vent construction is fantastic... The tree shaped design is being followed throughout in every other monument... No parking lot available...
  • Nothing like a must visit place but if you are close by with nothing much to do, go there. Shopping nearby is fun.. You just need to walk a little to reach the market where you can find steal deals. It's called Lal darwaja market.
  • On an overall view of all the heritage site's I guess I don't found these site to be that crowd-attractive. Yeah despite of the fact that Japan's PM visited ONLY this heritage site during his visit in India (Ahmedabad) i still opine the same. The best time to visit these place is before sunrise !! In order to not to fail to catch the most magnificent view of sun-rays-magical show on the mother earth through the beautiful carvings on the wall of these structure. 😍 I could definitely found myself lost in it's beauty and charm. It's easily accessible even while going through. Being in the heart of the most crowded and famous place's in ahmedabad it's all time noisy around here.
  • It's located in the center of the Ahmadabad city One of the identity of Ahmedabad,Awesome Creative carvings Built in almost before 450 years ago The Ahmedabad airport is about 10 kilometers away Ahmedabad Railway Station is 3.5 kilometers away And Gujarat's bus stand is 3 kilometers away
  • Reputedly unfinished but still functioning as a mosque, The remarkable stonework marks this iconic Muslim contribution to Ahmedabad a real beauty
