  • Agumbe is also called as Southern Chirapunjee as it receives the highest rainfall in Southern India. Once u come down the sunset view point and move towards kundapur, about a kilometer from Sun set point, one would observe the boat pedaling and a park. Nice place for outing. Kids would enjoy in the park.
  • A life time experience.. A must visit place.. Preferable duration is between 1st Jan to 30th Apr..
  • Awesome view, thick forest . before reaching ensure the sky is clear. or else the clouds will takeaway the breath taking view.
  • Sunset view from this place is just awesome.... As this is world famous everyone must see this
  • Came to know about this place on the day we were starting from chennai by road to visit mangalore and other places. It is not a big climb like Koli hills, it is a small climb having about 13 hair pin bends, but the day we were travelling it was drizzling, cold, foggy etc. so climbing the Agumbe Ghats was really exhilarating. Also the Ghat section was really tight in many places, requiring the driver to use common sense and patience to drive. Another strange thing we noticed was the way the ghat roads were dipping on one side at the turn as we came down back to the plains. When we reached the top to the sunset view point, it was still foggy, cold, drizzling. the watch tower was good, but sadly we could not get a good view due to the foggy sky. Overall we enjoyed the ride and the climate.
