  • very interesting museum. the owner( Haraldur Sigurðsson ) of the museum is the best specialist in the world of volcanoes.
  • We were given an extremely informative tour. The guide was a graduate student who was very passionate about the subject. She imparted a lot of information about volcano in general and the museum in specific. The museum has a lot of art featuring valcano. The movies are a nice extra. Note it is a small museum.
  • Technically this is a museum of volcanic art not of volcanoes and their workings per se. We did not have a guide.
  • Nice place and good educational gifts as well
  • Really interesting with lots of art work to engage in the volcanic eruptions of not just the Icelandic but volcanoes further afield. A great learning experience!
