In any case, we can meet there all kinds of stone, which can be found in the East of Iceland. As for the stones, would have been less dear to me. Because the parts repeating himself. My suggestion: this better label and if possible even geographical origin. The stuffed local birds and animals have fascinated me. The privacy of the Lady, however, was not really my thing.
We stopped at Petra's on our drive around Iceland. It is an interesting stop if you like rocks. There is a large collection of rocks on display that Petra had collected through her lifetime. more »
Es un jardín bonito con unas cuantas piedras que se repiten todo el rato, poco mas. Un lugar de descanso mas que un lugar que visitar more »It is a beautiful garden with a few stones that are repeated all the time, little more. A resting place than a place to visit
Interesting collection of stones. A lot of work has gone into making this available to the public. However it would be nice to have more descriptions of some stones for a more educational experience. Also it could be more organized.
Worth every penny. It is absolutely one of my favourite stops in Iceland. Pure dedication from one family to make a fantastic place even better. The amount of rocks gems and interesting items is just incredible. You can stay for hours looking around and never get bored.
A very beautiful place made possible by a beautiful lady! Reading about Petra was an a great experience, she sounded like an amazing lady. This was a very relaxing stop to walk through the garden and look at all these amazing stones. Definitely stop by here!
Rocks... A lot of them... Story about the collector is not bad. If you are passing by it is okay. Serves coffee, soup etc to go as well.
Amazing collection. Neat woman. Just bring a geologist if you want to get into deep details of rock formation.
