  • I've been on many horse back riding tours and this was by far my favorite! An AMAZING tour with wonderful staff. They do keep groups on the smaller side, which I love (ours was just myself, my husband, one other guest and 2 guides). We did the "A little bit of everything" tour and I wouldn't suggest anything else! ❤️ They take the first 20-30 minutes to introduce you to the Icelandic horse and make sure you're comfortable with the different gaites before heading out. Towards the end we had a pit-stop at the sheep corral for some coffee, hot cocoa and snacks. In total it was about 4 hours. The guides were very knowledgeable about the history of the area we went though and had some fun stories. The horses were super sweet and definitely each had their own personalities! It was cloudy and somewhat windy the day we went, so dress appropriately. We had maybe only 15 minutes of sunshine, but it was still a beautiful ride!
  • We had amazing experience with viking tour. Horses are well kept and allowed to do one your per day even when they can do more then one. We were interested in riding by Arctic Ocean tour but weather did not allow us. I contacted the owner before we left and he sent me a detailed list and asking questions for our need. Farm provides you horse based on your skills to handle the horse.
  • This was a well managed farm with lovely horses. We not only enjoyed our ride, but learned a great deal about the local economy, agriculture in Iceland and the Icelandic horse. Our riding horses were both well mannered and responsive. I would recommend this experience to both experienced and beginning riders.
  • We had a great tour, motivated and reliable horses, very nice guides and and delicious waffles as well as a relaxing bath after. I highly recommend stopping here!
  • Absolutely incredible place! They were beyond friendly, prepared/helpful for the anxious first timer like myself, and plenty of opportunities to customize for everyone's enjoyment. Also, the waffles and homemade blueberry jam with some coffee afterwards was a perfect end to a lovely tour.
