Melrakki Adventures, Vatnajokull National Park

Sigurpol and Kalia were amazing guides, taking us through the beautiful glacier. Plenty of blue ice, crevices and other interesting things. Was my first time and an enjoyable experience I would recommend to everyone. Only reasonable fitness required. Also we were driven to the glacier meaning more time on the ice. Small group tour of 7 people made it feel very personal. We went as close as possible to the glacier face as possible. They explained all the safety clearly and still let us enjoy things. Using crampons is fun! Great service and nice company to deal with.

Love these guys! Katy was nice, prepared and funny. She knows much about the glacier, its “life” and Iceland. They have great time set up for hikes, we avoided other groups and were alone on the glacier. At the end she gave us some tips for the trip around island - super nice! Truly recommend them.

Super good experience, small group, Oddur was a great guide, super kind and happy. It was the greatest experience in my holidays in Iceland. Much better than bigger companies which are destructing the glacier making steps on the ice and keeping plastic barrels on the glacier.

We did the glacier walk tour (3 hours). We had a great time. The guide was really nice and knew a lot about the glacier and the rest of Iceland. The fact that it's a smaller group of max 8 people is really nice and makes everything a lot quicker.
