  • Very nice campsite away from the main road and huge traffic. Splendid view from the coast and two hot pots, where you can enjoy a bath and the sunset. It was a highlight on our tour and it is definite...  read more »
  • If you're in the area, after visiting in Glaumbær, worth the detour north: two different hot pools somewhere in nowhere between mountains and the sea.

  • Remote location, beautiful surroundings, hot baths, great hiking paths. What more can you ask for? Just go, and remember to camp at the campsite, and make sure the baths are the last thing you do befo...  read more »
  • We only visited for a swim. These thermal baths are tucked up at the end of the road in a family run thermal bath/cafe/hostel. The two baths are both slightly different in temperature. A shower would be nice to get full value for the charge.
  • Amazing thermal bath! Very hot and really close to the sea... so close we decided to have a dip in the freezing ocean! The toilet facilities are very small and simple, no showers. A simple cafe is on site.
  • Great views at this camp site and for $10 USD an awesome spot to spend the night. That being said the facilities are not well maintained and staff was not very helpful. The campground was empty at 6 pm but by 10 pm filled up with noisy tourists who lacked camping etiquette. Stay for the views and hot pots but be warned of the problems
  • Very wonderful place (lost at the end of road 748) near the sea, with hot pool (38 to 45 degrees) for 750 ISK more, lovely wood houses, café with food and hot drinks. Paid 4800 ISK per person with sleeping bags, but worth it !
  • The most beautiful place! So quiet and peaceful, amazing!
