  • Spent one night at the campsite which was great waking up with such a gorgeous view. There's plenty places to explore around here so don't just drive here for the hotpots. Myself, I didn't even get in...  more »
  • Small hot nickel spot with just behind a beautiful view on the sea Attention 20 km on a path but passable with a classic car I strongly advise

  • If you're not of Jocks who need every second attached to the phone and do you really want to enjoy Iceland and peace/relaxation, this is the place to be. We booked a room with shared bathroom and kitchen, and we were in a two-story wooden house. it to ourselves because there was none that night. There was everything that could be useful then SUPERRR!!! the phone did not take hardly ever but the best!! as customers could take advantage of the pools as and when we wanted but we recommend you to go there towards the end of the day maybe late afternoon ... when there's still the sunset but down there so you begin to evacuate and you'll have the place for you as it was for us. What about super staff. the girl at the desk really friendly. close to the pools there is also a wooden stable where you can have breakfast and eat lunch. bathrooms etc etc. The sight??? SPECTACULAR ... just a few meters from the Sea you will have an aerial view 270 degrees (there's the classic mountain massive that protect you from the cold currents of Iceland). SUPER RECOMMENDED!! GO for IT!

  • Amazing thermal bath! Very hot and really close to the sea... so close we decided to have a dip in the freezing ocean! The toilet facilities are very small and simple, no showers. A simple cafe is on site.
  • The website that directed us here said it was a free spa with a donation box. It's a long drive and well worth it but be aware it's 10,000kr, cash (most people don't carry cash while travelling) to bathe there, which we were fine with. Showers on site and a coffee shop. Camping available.
  • What a lovely spot! The sea views, short walk up the hill, hot pools, and hot dogs were a perfect rest after a stressful drive. It felt like a pure moment of calm and relaxation. The bit of local history available was fascinating. I'm very, very glad we drove out.
  • We only visited for a swim. These thermal baths are tucked up at the end of the road in a family run thermal bath/cafe/hostel. The two baths are both slightly different in temperature. A shower would be nice to get full value for the charge.
  • What a place ! Best hot bath ever . At the end of the world ... almost.
