  • On a medium-sized motorboat sailing one for 1200 isk per person over to Videy, a boat trip on a good five minutes. It's a trip you almost could even swim on a hot summer day. It was during the winter period when we visited Iceland, and by taking the first ferry, you can get 3 hours on the island, we spent only two, which was plenty. The island in itself is very beautiful and has several waterfalls, which is a few meters high, around the edge of the island. There are a handful of attractions on the island, but they are pretty disappointing. For example, there is a cave, which-when one finds it-is nothing more than a small overhang of rock and cave have exactly enough space for a person to hide from the rain creeps in. If you have seen much else on Iceland and would like to have a nice picnic on an island may be recommended, otherwise I think and my boyfriend is not, that it was worth the visit.
