  • Booked this fishing trip back in 13 on a trip to Iceland which as a Holiday on the whole was great. From the word go the Capitan on the Christina didn't like me. Don't know if it was because I booked ...  more »

  • What this boat (the Christina) lacks in polish and speed (it is old and weathered), was more than made up for by our fishing success and the authenticity of its 'old pro' Captain. We caught lots of co...  more »

  • They were nice throughout and explained so much. I asked how it is that whales can store so much oxygen in their bodies, and they answered that they have proteins that humans don't have that bind to the oxygen, both in the blood and in the muscles. Oh, and they gave us cool warm overalls, do we could stand outside throughout the trip and still feel warm. Loved it!
  • We had an absolutely fantastic experience that we will never forget. We got very close to three humpbacks and a minke whale and saw many seabirds. Our guide, Hanna, was friendly, knowledgeable, funny, and easy to understand. The company is extremely careful not to disturb or endanger these animals in any way and are strong advocates for high standards of environmental protection. I would recommend an Elding whale watching tour to anyone.
  • We saw 3 humpback whales, and the tour guide was very informed. Would recommend.
  • Guides are passionate and informative. The boat is roomy and clean, and has a bar for drinks (alcoholic and otherwise). Warm waterproof overalls are provided free of charge.
  • Nature is not Disneyland. The company can't control when they see whales, but seeing them in the wild is amazing. A lot of people seem to think you'll be right on top on the whale, but that would be dangerous. Just like you don't take a selfie with a Buffalo at Yellowstone Park, you shouldn't expect one here. Enjoy the experience, forget your camera, and remember that you're not in the zoo anymore. The crew was extremely friendly and we saw minke whales and dolphins!!!
