  • The Town Hall is a modern building, something avant-garde and curious. Reflects the way this simple people. Has an excellent map of Iceland to 3 dimensions with the major attractions. You can have a coffee or a cold drink on the ground floor.

  • Reykjavík City Hall, if you ask the inhabitants of Reykjavík you will probably get a different answer of how they feel about the building. At the time of building many people felt that it would damage the look of the Reykjavik pond and the older houses around. You will just have to make up your own mind. You can enter it and look around inside, they are small coffee shop and a large 3D map of Iceland.
  • Beautiful building situated right on the lake I'm the centre of Reykjavik. I wish the city hall at home was this nice.
  • Wow that was city hall! Used it as a good toilet whilst on the ice lake/pond/feeding the bird life
  • This building is a great open space. Located on the pond were we looked at ducks and geese. Our Reykjavik walking tour ended here, which was perfect as it allowed gathering space for the tour wrap up, and a bathroom stop.
  • The 3D map is really cool to look at. It gives a good sense what the rest of the island looks like, geographically. If you are planning to go explore the rest of island, this is definitely worth checking out first.
