  • Preceded by a great fame, the building of the reykjavikiano session does not offer as much as he is credited. The 'Lakes', on a day of gray or rainy or nevadizo, do not provide the spectacular or light that embellish the building, as without that particular vision, suffers from more attractive, because the presence of large amount of glass on the facade, is already very outdated.

  • Museum of the city of Reykjavík is a modern, built in 1992, the building is made of concrete, glass and lava, is located by Lake Tjörnin. There is also a tour desk and free Internet access. Unfortunately, we failed to see beautiful maps of the panorama of the island, which is shown there.

  • It's a must if you are walking about Reykjavik. The views from the far side of the pond is really pretty and a good place to take pics.  more »

  • Reykjavík City Hall, if you ask the inhabitants of Reykjavík you will probably get a different answer of how they feel about the building. At the time of building many people felt that it would damage the look of the Reykjavik pond and the older houses around. You will just have to make up your own mind. You can enter it and look around inside, they are small coffee shop and a large 3D map of Iceland.
  • Nice building, with the small lake next to it. Inside, there's a large 3D map of Iceland. It's interesting.
  • Interesting modern architecture originally placed just on the bank of the lake. Make sure that you go inside!
  • Building with modern interiors and facilities. Some very classy corners
  • Beautiful building situated right on the lake I'm the centre of Reykjavik. I wish the city hall at home was this nice.
