  • After doing a loop around the lake this is a nice place to stop and take a break. It was well kept but, someone did spray paint the base of the statue the night before, cleaners were there (even on a ...  more »
  • The Parliament building is beautiful to a park not far from the City Lake. It is a square old building, nice to see. We have the only outside views because we were there on Sunday. We know not whether it is inside. To the right of the building is still a beautiful church which, as usual, was closed here to visit.

  • We met our walking tour here in the garden area of the Parliament House. It is in the center of town and gives a good idea of the government area. We heard some history and took a few photos

  • Nice building on the outside with nearby square. Unfortunately we could not get a tour but it's worth emailing them to ask for a tour just before you go.
  • This is the parliament house and it is worth to take a look at. The building was built in the years 1880-1881. Before it became the parliament house it housed the national library and the national gallery for a short period of time. The house is a little small so next to it there is an additional building. There is one interesting thing about the front of the house, Iceland is an independent country but if you look at the front of house at the top you can see the danish crown and coat of arms.
  • Small and simple. Pretty park across the street. The park is more worth a visit then this spot but all of it looks good.
  • Without someone who explained a bit over this house its nothing special:/
  • Nice old building. Local tour guide seemed to like it
