However the building has some beauty, lots of Windows and a lawn with flower beds in front of the entrance. You can't visit the interior. On another occasion I participated in a reception of a member of the Government in its work, it was a simple wooden Villa, although beautiful and functional.show original
I recommend to visit the parliament with a tour where the guide can give you some more information about it. The building is nice and surprisingly small for being a parliament. It has a really nice pa... read more »
Building of gray next to Central Park. Is easily noticed in the comments of other, smaller than the City Hall at the back side. One respondent puts in, generally in doesn't seem to allow. Streets along the watch inside the room through the window, but 1st floor part drawing room, perhaps pictures of members of the former decorated, was like a museum.show original

This is the parliament house and it is worth to take a look at. The building was built in the years 1880-1881. Before it became the parliament house it housed the national library and the national gallery for a short period of time. The house is a little small so next to it there is an additional building. There is one interesting thing about the front of the house, Iceland is an independent country but if you look at the front of house at the top you can see the danish crown and coat of arms.
Nice old building. Local tour guide seemed to like it

Beautiful build where the politicians do there job, if you are already downtown I would definitely recommend to check this place out.
Do you know the definition of insanity. It's doing the same fucking thing over and over again, expecting shit to change
