Relax the way the Icelanders do, with a trip to a geothermal spa. Laugardalslaug features a series of outdoor pools of different temperatures, ranging from 36 to 44 C (97 to 111 F), as well as a larger pool for lane swimming. In addition to the pools, the park offers picnic and barbecue facilities, a soccer stadium, sports hall, botanical gardens, and a zoo. The gardens feature local trees, flowers and vegetables, and some tropical plants. Try the hot tub filled with heated salt water for a slightly different experience. Unwind in the steam and sauna rooms, or get some excitement racing down the waterslides. Popular with tourists and locals alike, a visit to the pools represents a very Icelandic experience. However, note that local ritual involves showering naked in public before swimming in the pool. Make Laugardalslaug part of your personalized Reykjavik itinerary using our Reykjavik vacation builder.

Kannattaa kyllä uhrata pari tuntia tähän kylpylään. Mitä huonompi keli, sitä mukavampaa on nauttia kuumista lähteistä. On myös varsin edullinen paikka.Support Yes to sacrifice a couple of hours here. What are the worse the weather, the more comfortable it is to enjoy the hot springs. It is also quite affordable.show original

Amazing pool with a lot of hot tubs at different temperatures. they also have a great indoor pool. The water slide was a lot of fun. I strongly recommend this pool if you're visiting Reykjavik. It's also pretty cheap (around $9)
Perfect outing for our toddler, all for only $6 USD per adult (kids free). The changing rooms are exceptionally clean. There are multiple "hot pots", a large swimming lane pool, and a separate shallow fun pool with three slides, ranging from small to huge. Bring your own towel to save a few bucks.
I went to almost all city pools and this one, though a bit far from the city center, is still the best one. It is easily accessible via city bus #14. It's next door to Reykjavik city hostel (HI). They have indoor and outdoor pools, and a water slide that is a lot of fun. Definitely recommended.
Amazing swimming pool - huge slide for kids, lots of hot pools of different temperatures. Clean and nice facility. They do rest towels.
This swimming pool compex is great! It cost 900 kronas for admission. You leave shoes outside the changing rooms and then enter. The separate changing rooms for men and women are bright and spacious. You are given an electronic key on a bracelet to unlock the lockers. Everyone is required to wash without wearing a swimsuit, but there are private cubicle showers for tourists! There are several outdoor pools, hot tubs of varying temperatures, slides and a big flume. The staff are friendly and would recommend to everyone.
