  • And a dense volcanic scars, is an interesting terrain. Near the mivarton Lake stopped by to walk during the trip. Photos and postcards are didn't understand how sorry dent condition of the terrain, because it was just covered with snow in the winter. I think that I'm sure has spectacular spring and summer is here.

  • The cause of education psevdokraterov are considered steam explosions that occurred during the eruption of the local volcanoes. They occurred, when the lava flow covered the Earth's surface and block water tanks that are close to the surface. As a result, in such "traps" a large amount of steam generated rapidly, the process was accompanied by a local pressure — there was a steam explosion. As a result it and formed Bowl-shaped depression, so much resembling the form of a crater of this volcano. That is, in simple terms, these education essentially broken bubbles! With this in mind, the size of the bubbles is impressive, certainly better appreciate the span with kvadrakoptera, but your legs take on takiim beautiful places in Nice. Our hotel was located just across the road, making a walk is accessible at any time. At the entrance there is parking across the street at hotels and restaurants, where you can grab a bite after a walk.

  • The pseudo craters were quite interesting with lots of cool views. They weren't as cool as actual craters which I had seen earlier on my trip but they were still cool to look at. There are also alot if birds for bird watchers to enjoy and short hikes which are quite scenic.
  • Another super fast walkabout around Lake Myvatn for some scenic views. This one has pseudo craters to view. Couldn't stay out long though, those little bugs are ruthless and just plain annoying even when we were here for the early season.
  • So uncommon landscape. They really like a very small volcanoes. Spreading near Lake Myvatn. You can hike them one by one in no time. Lovely.
  • Nice little spot. Noods more interpretive displays
  • Nothing special comparing to other places in Iceland. There is also big lake. Two paths 1km and 3km.
