  • Best pool in Iceland. There's both an indoor and outdoor swimming pool 25 meter swimming pool, three different hot tubs (38°, 40° and 42°C) a lounge pool / kiddie pool, pretty decent slides and two saunas. Outstanding area to exercise and unwind.
  • For Americans traveling here, this is a very European styled swimming pool. Not that it's a bad thing but you'll be required to strip down and shower without a swim suit before getting into the pools. So, if you're a more private person, maybe avoid it. But if that's not an issue for you, then this place was a great way to spend a few hours. The wind was whipping up but that didn't matter in the hot pools. There was an indoor space as well if you wanted to get out of the winds. And the water slides were more than enough to get the kids occupied for a while.
  • Nice clean aquatic facility! Love the lap pool for exercise while kids can play on water slides...plus they have several hot tubs at different temperatures to chose from...
  • Good for kids and adults alike :) sauna and steam room!
  • In my opinion the best swimming pool in Iceland. Great hot tubs, cold tub, sauna, steam bath, water slides, outdoor changing rooms and a beautiful mountain view.

Where to stay in Reykjavik

In this highly walkable capital, many of Reykjavik's hotels and guesthouses offer close proximity to the city's popular attractions, bars, and restaurants. The waterfront offers an exciting dose of activity. Although Reykjavik provides plenty of accommodations to its flocks of visitors, there is a dearth of budget options in the city. Price-conscious visitors should consider staying in a hostel, with both private and dorm rooms available, or a nearby campsite. Although the campground is not as centrally located as some hotels, guests are better positioned to take advantage of the natural surroundings.
