  • This is a wonderful waterfall, with amazing basalt columns and other rick features. It is situated on an F road, so to drive up you need a 4x4, alternatively you can park a few km away just before the F road begin a and walk in. There is a bit if a slope down to the best view but not too steep.
  • Very beautiful place with basalt cliffs and a large waterfall. Also the lava fields around it are quite nice to see. Some call it a hidden beauty, but it really is. It's a little bit remote and from the main road. For the last part a sign shows you need a 4x4, but the road is pretty good in summer (at least when we went). Really a place to visit if you are nearby.
  • Top 3 of all the waterfalls I saw in Iceland. You need a 4x4 to get there, but you can leave your car and hike the 4x4 road if necessary. Also you can go through the closed gates, just remember to close them after you!
  • Very nice place, a beautiful waterfall you must see in Iceland. Road is not too bad to drive, takes an hour to be there, but it’s worth it!
  • The most magestic view you can have! And have a taste for the highlands! The balsat pillars are out of this world! The best place in Iceland.
