  • Iceland is the youngest country of Europe, but still very old by American standards. These exhibits give an understanding of the Viking and Viking culture.  more »
  • Worthwhile stop to learn about the early settlement and Egil's Saga. Both audio guided exhibits combined take about an hour. Don't miss the cafe if you are hungry.  more »

  • I didn't visit any exhibitions. We visited because it seemed to be the only place open in the area. But we were in luck. The atmosphere and setting was very pleasant. The food was delicious. The fish soup and trout main were superb and the waiting staff very friendly. Expensive, but no more so than anywhere else in Iceland. I would recommend to anyone visiting the attraction to stay to eat.
  • Food is good enough. But we came in a big group but they refused to give us more food when we've paid for it! What kind of restaurant is this?!
  • Very nice. You get an audio guide in your prefered language. There's a restaurant upstairs that has decent food at a responsible price.
  • Good tour and nice setup, expensive as all things in Iceland but we felt it was worth it, nice cafe there as well
  • Great information about the settlement of Iceland and the story of Egils Saga. Owner was very nice and helpful with information about the museum and the area.
