  • The +: one of the most beautiful places in Iceland, to be reserved for experienced hikers (or accompanied by a guide) and well equipped. The cliffs are populated (puffins, terns...), bird prey of polar foxes. In the summer, hundreds of species of flowers and mosses clothe this lunar landscape. The -: Requires physical preparation if you want to explore the Interior, beyond the beaches. Tourists sometimes leave droppings and the PQ in nature (there are dry toilets even if they are rare). The sea rejects waste plastics that accumulate on the beaches, but major efforts of cleaning was made 3 years on this point.
