In den dunklen Räu... more »€10 are too much for this Museum, which has been built mostly by volunteers. It's quite funny, if you have time to do better, but not absolutely necessary. You can hear Icelandic stories by people who want to have seen any Lake Monster in the dark rooms. On a table, you can the coastal of islands along go ball then with half an hour and read the local Monster story. In a round fan Cabinet you can see strange animals. And before you knew it just not better that is for example a 2 headed born calf, not a monster, but an anomaly. Café ´ Museum is quite cozy.

Very small but done very nicely. With a small gift and coffee shop attached. Covers the topic of local sea monsters which, if real, would be a bit scary to bump into on a wind swept beach. A nice plac... more »

It was interesting and fun, but a little expensive for a museum so small (then again we are in Iceland...) The setting in the museum was great. more »

Tons of information and a really cool atmosphere. I was surprised. When you walk through the door to the exhibit it's like suddenly being below deck on a ship. Worth the visit.
