Andrássy Castle is located in the north-eastern part of Hungary, in Tiszadob, Szabolcs-Szatmár-Bereg County. It was designed by Artúr Meinig, a.k.a. Arthur Meinig, for Count Gyula Andrássy, who was the second Foreign Minister of Austria-Hungary and first Hungarian prime minister.

    One of the few country- castles of Hungary - which are kept in nice shape. Even if it was fully rubbed (WWI and WWII), and misused (as orphen's home after the WWII) it was nicely reconstructed...

    Andrássy Castle is located in the north-eastern part of Hungary, in Tiszadob. The park and the castle were built by count Gyula Andrassy (1823-1890). Visitors can walk in the park but the castle is temporarily closed due to the interior renovation. Great place for creating nice photos :-) Castlepark opening hours: (Closed on Mondays) Tuesday through Sunday from 10:00 to 16:00

    Beautifully renovated castle with fantastic fixed and temporary exhibitions. The guides are very knowledgeable and they share all the information you need to know about the Andrássy family. The re-established maze is taking shape now.

    The castle and the garden is very beautiful, a good place to visit and walk around with family. However, be aware, that if you plan to get inside the castle itself, you have to book well in advance!
