  • This place gives a very traditional feeling, both in respect to it's decoration and menu. We had mixed fish soup which was generous in size and very tasty (after it we didn't feel hungry anymore!) and fried pork meat stuffed with ham and cheese, which was also very good and not swimming in fat (as one would expect for fried dishes!). Prices are a bit above average I would say, but affordable. There were some difficulties in understanding the menu as it was stating different things in different languages... Also the staff could be more welcoming and attentive to tourists. We asked to pay the bill separately (there were two of us) and that one of us pays his bill in cash and the other with card... and the waiter replied with just a short and strict "No." Although I really wouldn't say this is an uncommon and unmanageable request, a simple "No, sorry." or some other kind of courtesy would be nice.
  • If you are in Szeged and feel like eating a traditional fish soup, try this place. Excellent tasty food at cheap cost. Soup is served in huge portions with fresh crusty bread and optional hot peppers.
  • Nice terrace. Tasty local food. Friendly staff
  • Over priced. I visited with my bf. Only for fish soup we paid almost 20Euros. In addition the staff were not so kind. Example the English manu was back of the book.(front a few page were all Hungarian but the waiter didnt explain me where is English menu. So I thought it is Hungarian menu. Finally I asked him if they have some English menu, then he opened the English section but the attitude was not kind. I won't go there again! Price is already high, so I expect better service too.
  • The best Halászlé (Hungarian Fish Soup) in Hungary but their service is slow and not too courteous.
