The city is not exactly across the River, because historically it was all on the same shore (right). Only relatively recently the City developed also on the left bank. This development has necessitated the construction of this bridge. The metal bridge (iron?) looks grey and the paint is peeling. It was built primarily as a functional work to its purpose, which is to link the banks of the River, with no special artistic ambitions. It is possible also to pedestrians crossing with two sidewalks wide enough parallels to the Central roadway for vehicles. From the center point of the bridge you can admire a beautiful view over the old city of Szeged and in particular on the two towers of the votive Church that can be seen from all parts of the city.show original
Volt egy kis időm, ezért elsétáltam a Tiszához, lementem a partra, sétáltam a hídon. A hídról nagyszerű a kilátás nyílik a Tisza-partra és a városra, a Dómra.I had a bit of my time, so I walked down the Tisza River, I went down to the beach, walking along the bridge. The bridge offers great views of the River Tisza to the coast and the city, the Duomo.show original
