  • Quite an interesting Castle. You can visit inside the Museum. Interesting exposition, including exhibitions of glass, porcelain and furniture. There are historical topics, including on the second world war. On the territory of many novodela. The one-hour sightseeing tour of the Chateau, on the exposition of the Museum-a maximum of two. For an additional fee there is a possibility to take photos inside the Museum. Museum staff does not speak neither German nor English (can we have a "lucky") Category must have.

  • I highly recommend not every time, but it's worth it. We were very much surprised we got a suit like batman and the lamp and welcomed us with some champagne.

  • Pentagonal Castle in the Renaissance style, which houses the Ferenc Nádasdy Museum, where you can also find many works of Italian art. Very nice reception hall, decorated with frescoes and stucco-colored frames. Less sumptuous but equally beautiful Tower room, decorated with frescoes. There is also an exhibition dedicated to the Hussars. Good price it is worth visiting the Castle. Originally Sárvár was founded in a waterlogged area, hence the name. (Sár-vár = Castle-muddy).
