  • The parks at a glance is still amazing, and the 3d movies can be enjoyed, but the park is no longer as great experience than several years ago, here and there, more exhibition space, is neglected in many places have been unreadable on the boards. Need some vérpezsdítés. Some parts of the open air museum specifically. But what we saw today was not on the ticket.

  • When we were taken to this park we had no idea what to expect. For a foreigner it is helpful to be with a local who can explain everything and who can interact with the staff who may not speak English...  more »
  • Want a great attekintes could it be the osszetartozasarol SAG torteneterol, but unfortunately not so. An important part of the kiallitohelyek is closed or the seedy allapota, mosdokban SOAP hiany, lehuzok ajtozarak and varo toilet deposit of this country is beterot here. The jarolapok felvalva, no csapban, viz on each SOAP is just mutatoban. The tizenket jurtahazbol, there were a latogathato. The open air museum haznak the most part, only the eloszobajaig can be belepni, because (I guess) is not orzott there ertekekre felugyeljen who. In some places it is difficult to tablakat marble kiallito-can be read because benotte some novenyzet. The guide not worn, can I read tablas with Pandit. The bufeben dirty evoeszkozt I got the Tan plastic fortunately was OK. Somehow the whole place kapcsan I can see that there is no karbantartasra penz. Forever young.

  • This is a wonderful dive into Hungarian History. All the kings and political figures, the original houses transplanted into this beautiful piece of nature and rebuilt in a way that you can really intuit how life was in the past. Many objects of handicraft, professions like weavers and smiths and teachers are vividly shown, partly by real people strolling through the park in costumes of that time. I loved the old houses and the objects inside. They reminded me of my early childhood in Germany where many of the objects were still present in grandma's place. This is a perfect lesson of history, inspiring as opposed to learn those things from books.
  • Large open air museum with different areas.
  • A very large park setting and a lot of heritage here as well as interpretation and places to eat and drink socially but it is a big place and there is lots of walking.there are bathrooms and an old time store where all you see is or was from the past
  • Far too expensive and far too big. Only 30 minutes is allowed for the main attraction: the Feszty Cyclorama, The Arrival of The Hungarians. Despite the size the park, there are hardly any places to have food. Many of the wooden covers are occupied by wasps (my daughter got attacked by one), try not to get close to anything on a sunny day. The staff is kind but scarce, information material (despite the quite high entrance fee) is not available or limited to dates only. Unless you have a local guide you will be most probably lost in history or will not understand more than 20 percent. So try to spend 2 days with preparation before you visit.
