  • The castle is rebuilt almost at all. All the interior rooms are newly constructed except for the entrance bastion. The whole castle is very nice. It is heated even. Perhaps, the biggest shortcoming is that all the exhibited items are replicas except for the coins. But, it is understandable because of the remains of the original castle. Each room has the desks with commentary of the exhibition in the five languages. There is also a possibility to watch the three documentary movies about the history of the castle. The parking place is sometimes for free – usually out of season or in a case of bad weather.
  • The castle looks "brand new", very rarely there is anything historic. The furniture in the rooms is very sparse, on average a bed and a table and that's it. The castle has no soul, does not feel historic at all and the exhibition is fairly poor compared to some other castles. There is however a lot of text in Hungarian you can stare at. Not sure if it's worth the visit, unless you go there only for the views and to look at a completely modernised castle.
  • Easy to walk to the top, Castle is very well renovated and up to 2021 standars. They speak English,Hungarian,Spanish and German. Also every room has the displays written in these languages also. A bit pricey to enter, but worth the view and experience
  • One of those difficult places to arrive, but every second spent there is gold, is one of the few live castles in Hungary, means you can seat and touch almost everything, great for kids! Make sure you take the free guided tour inside and collect all the stamps!
  • It was renovated and rebuild. The infotainment is multilingual and they offer programs for kids also.
