Devo dire che a me è piaciuta in tutto e per tutto. Si paga per entrare sia alla chiesa, al museo, alla cripta e alla cupola. Chiesa bella, non c è nulla di spicco ma colpisce per l'altezza della cupo... read more »I must say that I liked it all the way. You pay to get both to the Church, the Museum, the crypt and the dome. Beautiful church, there s nothing outstanding but impresses with the height of the dome. The crypt is even more beautiful, really huge, perhaps the greatest I've ever visited. Then the Museum with precious objects, small but nice. Finally the best part, the climb to the top, with lots of steps and a bar on the way to get to the top. Spectacular and breath taking the view from the top on the Danube, on Slovakia and the village below. There are no elevators to get there but it deserves. It takes a little time to visit her entirely.show original

Cupolas are wonderful, and the paintings are superb. The tickets are paid. However, to make the trip to Esztergom, and not visit the inside of the Basilica would be unforgivable. At the cafe on the street under the Cathedral had a of the best lemon honey tea party ever.show original
Very interesting place. Beautiful architecture. The panorama view from the roof of the Basilica is awesome. We liked this place. We had problem with comunication with the staff. They dont speak English, Deutsch, Italiano, Russian...I think each of the staff member who is working for any turist place should know some (basic) foreign language - it happened in the ticket office.
Big and nice. Little Hungarian Vatican. One suggestion: climbing on dome is hard and a bit dangerous and there not amazing view from up there as I expected. And it costs!
I visited the Basilica of Esztergom on 29.11.2015. It is hard to define the beauty, architecture, and many more important features of this unique gem...It really worths visiting...
Beautiful ecclesiastical building with nice view onto the Danube.
The chappel is huge and has an interesting arhitecture. You can visit the crypt
