  • It has museums inside and a lot of good programs. Under 6 free to go. After opening times you can go in just to walk around for 800 HUF.

  • Many of the tickets, relatively. The castle is located in the illemhelység, not the cleanest, and could not wash their hands!

  • A must-do in Eger. The best castle attraction I've experienced, topping my previous favourite Spis Castle in Slovakia. Allow a full day to do it properly. The underground tunnel displays and tours with animations, videos and 3D reconstructionals are VERY comprehensive, and well done.
  • Lovely place, worth visiting. Fantastic city view to see during walking on curtain walls.
  • Beautifully renovated castle. It is definitely a must-see in Eger, especially for the views of the city and the historical exhibits.
  • Excellent! Be sure to explore as there is much more to find than you first think. Special mention to the exhibition on the Siege of Eger. Not all signs are fully translated.
  • Lovely castle. Great views!
