  • The castle of Eger allows to first on its walls a very nice walk with a very nice view on the city, then the intramural remains is instructive, as the Museum located in the main building of the castle which, meanwhile, is particularly well presented, with pretty pieces. Only downside, the temporary exhibition located in one of the towers that the day of our visit was evacuated an hour before the closing of the Museum. But here let me good memories and I would stay again.

  • The Castle close 1 hour before we arrived. We looked at a museum or not, we just walk around, we went to opals and creation of the Castle! The renewed construction of the walls to see the illuminated city! Wonderful! It was very romantic! I recommend it to everyone!

  • A must-do in Eger. The best castle attraction I've experienced, topping my previous favourite Spis Castle in Slovakia. Allow a full day to do it properly. The underground tunnel displays and tours with animations, videos and 3D reconstructionals are VERY comprehensive, and well done.
  • Lovely place, worth visiting. Fantastic city view to see during walking on curtain walls.
  • Beautifully renovated castle. It is definitely a must-see in Eger, especially for the views of the city and the historical exhibits.
  • Excellent! Be sure to explore as there is much more to find than you first think. Special mention to the exhibition on the Siege of Eger. Not all signs are fully translated.
  • Lovely castle. Great views!
